Colon Brown - President
Mr. Brown has served as President of Brown & Brown Financial Services, Inc. (BBFSI) a registered Investment Advisory Firm and Brown & Brown Securities, Inc. (BBSI) a FINRA, SIPC broker/dealer since their founding in 1985.
Mr. Brown's Investment experience spans 60 years. Before 1985, Mr. Brown was employed by a major New York Stock Exchange Brokerage firm and successfully served as:
-- Vice President, Office Manager, in three different Sun Belt cities.
-- An Institutional Account Executive to corporate and municipal retirement accounts as well as professional investment managers.
-- An Investment Account Executive to individual and corporate investors.
He is a registered principal, a licensed securities broker and Insurance agent, and has achieved the designation of Certified Financial Planner.
Mr. Brown's formal education includes a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Stanford University followed by graduate study in business and communications.

Alexis Brown - Vice President Financial Advisor
Ms. Alexis L Brown has lived in the Dallas, Texas area for most of her life. She attended The Hockaday School for 10 years. She was graduated, however, from Wilbraham Monson Academy in Wilbraham, MA. The cold Massachusetts winters led her south of the Mason-Dixon, where she, ultimately, attended and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona.
Alexis has almost 20 years of experience in the investment business, including working with The Calvert Funds in Bethesda, MD, Dow Jones in NY, NY. More recently, she was a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch and served on the trading desk at US Trust. In addition to her almost 20 years experience, she has been exposed to the investment business for much longer than her professional resume suggests. With a father in the investment business, while growing up, dinner conversations frequently, revolved around investments and watching Wall Street Week on Friday nights.

Carolyn Brown
Mrs. Brown serves as a consultant to Brown and Brown Financial Services, Inc. and Brown & Brown Securities, Inc. She, previously, has practiced family law. She is also an experienced and active real estate investor. In addition, Mrs. Brown previously has served as a member of a Clinical Review Board for cancer trials having provided expertise both from her professional background and experience as a cancer survivor.
A graduate of University of Texas at Dallas in Economics, Mrs. Brown graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her law degree is from Southern Methodist University.
Mrs. Brown enjoys various Dallas cultural arts organizations, including the Dallas Opera and Dallas Theater Center. She was a founding member of the North Texas Breast Cancer Foundation which promoted Daylilies, a breast cancer support group.
